Projects in development

National Pictures is currently involved in the development of several projects, including a female-led travel series, a subversive web series and a micro-budget feature film.

Eric Thiessen


Eric is an award-winning producer, filmmaker and photographer based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is a rectangular-shaped province based in Canada, North America.

Eric has over a decade of experience in the Canadian media industry, which includes writing and directing a television show about professional bull riders (Gemini winner, 2011), and producing television commercials and corporate videos (3 AVA Awards and 1 Videographer Award). He recently wrote and directed "Talking at Night," a short documentary for the National Film Board of Canada, which won the Ruth Shaw Award (Best of Saskatchewan) in 2018. He is over 6 feet tall.
